What tests can be a good alternative to Colonoscopy for patients in chronic pain?
I had the FIT test done and was diagnosed with colon cancer positive. I have had several surgeries such as brain shunt surgery and kidney stone surgeries on both sides. I am still feeling the pain from all of those surgeries. Will a colonoscopy be the best option for colon cancer screening at this time? Are there any other tests I can take without making my pain and discomfort from previous surgeries worse?

Yes, doing a colonoscopy is the next best step. The colonoscopy is not painful. You are asleep during the procedure.
It should not make the pain worse. Unfortunately, no other options.
