How should I arrange my training schedule as an athlete before and after a Colonoscopy? 

I train every day as a semi-professional athlete. I will be getting a colonoscopy to narrow down some possible causes for my chronic diarrhea and help with a diagnosis (IBS suspected). Should I ease up on the training while doing the low-fiber diet or the final bowel prep before the colonoscopy? Can I get back to lifting weights the day after, or would it be too soon?

I think you can ease up on the training the day of the prep. Rest on the day of the colonoscopy and then you can resume training the day after.
