Does getting a colonoscopy hurt?
My husband is 53 and I believe he is supposed to get a colonoscopy. Colon cancer runs in our family. He has never had a colonoscopy before. He is reluctant to get a colonoscopy because he thinks that it will be painful. Is this true? Do colonoscopies hurt? Is there an alternative if he cannot be convinced?
