Could a leg operation worsen colon blockage?
I am an 82 year old man with a problem that has existed for about 40/45 years and has gotten worse over the years. I tried to get help at a clinic without much success. I recently had an operation on my right leg to relieve cramps in the leg. It seems that it was done in the same area of the blockage, but I don’t know if it made it worse or not. After the operation last May, I had no trouble at all until two weeks before Christmas, and then the agony started again. I had a colonoscopy a few years ago and they said everything was clear.

If you had a normal colonoscopy then there would be no blockage. You may have poor motility of your colon. This should be discusses with your doctor.
