Could an old colonoscopy have caused Guillain Barre Syndrome?

I heard about stomach viruses and surgeries causing GBS, that is why I asked the question about my colonoscopy contributing to it. My biggest complaint and concern now is my neuropathy symptoms. My hands and feet feel as if electricity is flowing through them an at times the pain is intense. I also have tightness in my neck, shoulders, chest and in my upper legs and buttocks that prevent me from walking normally. I have numbness from my knees down to my ankles and numbness in my face with severe back pain. Does this sound as if I have Guillain Barre Syndrome? Could my colonoscopy have caused this?

It is unlikely that your colonoscopy caused any of your neurological symptoms. But you should discuss this with your regular physician.
