Kaleem M Rizvon MD FACP FACG Is the Chief of Gastroenterology and Director of Endoscopy at Nassau University Medical Center, East Meadow NY He is a graduate of the Madras Medical College, one of the top 5 Medical Schools in India. He completed his residency training and fellowship in Gastroenterology in Nassau University Medical Center including a year as Chief Resident. Dr Rizvon has spent his entire career in Academic Medicine with numerous teaching responsibilities as Site Director and Clerkship Director of medical student rotations, Associate Director of the Internal Medicine residency program and Clinical Chair of Internal Medicine at AUC School of Medicine. He has won multiple academic awards including the Sibthrope Prize in Medical School, Fellow of the Year and multiple Teacher of the Year awards. He has been selected as Top Physician in Gastroenterology by the Consumers’s Research Council of America. He has authored numerous publications including book chapters and has been interviewed in the local and national media. Dr Rizvon is a member of American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Fellow the American College of Physicians and American College of Gastroenterology. He holds academic appointments as Associate Professor of Medicine at NY College of Osteopathic Medicine and SUNY Stony Brook. He also serves as clinical chairman of Internal Medicine at the American University of the Caribbean.
