Mohammad Ali

Professional Bio

Dr. Ali is the chief of endoscopy and chair of the Department of Medicine at the Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, New York. He received his medical education at Stony Brook University, then served his residency and internship in internal medicine at New York University Winthrop Hospital, where he also completed his fellowship in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. Board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, Dr. Ali is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, The American Gastroenterological Association, New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology. Among his clinical interests are colorectal cancer screening, colonoscopy, endoscopy, GERD, IBD, IBS and peptic ulcer disease.
