Dr. Haynes is from Chicago, Illinois, but now practices gastroenterology at the Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology medical group. After graduating in 1991 from DePauw University, located in Greencastle, Indiana, he moved back to his home state and earned a Medical Degree from Loyola University in 1999. He then relocated to undergo internship, residency and fellowship training at the Indiana University Medical Center, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. After completing his hospital training in 2005, Dr. Drake began practicing at Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He has since served as a leader in his medical community as a member of the St. Francis Hospital Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, the St. Francis Hospital Institutional Review Board and the Board of the Indianapolis Gastroenterology Research Foundation.
Dr. Haynes is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the Indianapolis Medical Society, the American College of Gastroenterology (AGA) and the Indiana State Medical Association. His work on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and other research topics has been published in respected publications. In his free time, Dr. Haynes likes to camp, hike and spend time with his wife and three children.
