Dr. Ernest J. Orinion lived in a many locations before settling down in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to Los Angeles for college, graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor’s from Loyola Marymount University. He then relocated to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he earned his Medical Degree in 1998. Following this, Dr. Orinion trained to become a GI doctor at Indiana University Medical Center, finishing his internship, residency and fellowship there by 2005. Now, Dr. Orinion has certification from both the Board of Gastroenterology and the Board of Internal Medicine. He sees his patients at the large practice group, Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Dr. Orinion associates himself with national organizations such as the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA). At the local level, he is involved with the Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA) and the Indianapolis Medical Society (IMS). Dr. Orinion is married with 3 children. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. orinion likes to golf, hike and root for the Indianapolis Colts.
