How often do you need a colonoscopy at age 61?

I had a colonoscopy at age 55, do I need one now?

That depends on what they found on the prior colonoscopy - you should speak with the endoscopist who performed the colonoscopy and find out when they feel you should repeat.

It depends on what was found on the previous colonoscopy. If you had polyps on the last one, you should have it again now. Contact your physician to find out if you are due.
