How often do I need a colonoscopy if polyps were found?

If polyps were detected and removed during a colonoscopy, how often should subsequent colonoscopies be done?

That actually depends on the size and the type of the polyps removed. You should talk with the endoscopist who removed them to see when they feel you should have a recheck.

Based on the pathology and size of the polyps, you should have a colonoscopy every 3-5 years.
